This will promote reforestation in areas that are deforested or degraded.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Leading U.S. e-waste recycling and reverse logistics firm Green Wave Electronics announced its latest sustainability initiative in partnership with Indiana counties. The state of Indiana is the first state to join hands with the company’s sustainability drive.

The company will run a program in association with the Indiana County Waste Authority to plant thousands of trees across the country. Ten trees will be planted for every ton of electronic waste collected by Marion County Indiana that is recycled through Indianapolis processing centre of Green Wave Electronics. This will promote reforestation in areas that are deforested or degraded.
