Miles Preps Ground Transport Mgmt. App for '22 Release

Mobility platform and ground transportation platform provider HQ has expanded its commercial team and has hired Susan Lichtenstein as VP of sales and Charity Rumery as chief revenue officer, the company told BTN.

Rumery started July 18 and reports to HQ CEO Amiad Solomon. Lichtenstein started July 25 and reports to Rumery, who previously spent four years leading sales as the general manager of the Americas region at Here Technologies, a global automotive mobility company.

Lichtenstein most recently ran a consulting company, DigiTravel, which in April merged with Andy Menkes’ Partnership Travel Consulting. She spent 10 years as a corporate travel manager at Cisco, among other positions.

“For me, it’s all about the next best thing—innovation, the construction, all the things that will move the industry forward,” Lichtenstein said. “When HQ and I started talking, [I realized] they are the next generation of mobility. HQ has really structured themselves as a company and continue to grow in that next generation, omnichannel environment.”

On merging DigiTravel with Partnership Travel Consulting, “Andy and I have a lot in common—our values, direction, business—and I wanted my customers and prospects to have a good place to land,” Lichtenstein said.

An industry veteran, Lichtenstein has received numerous acknowledgements, including BTN’s 2009 Travel Manager of the Year, BTN’s 25 Most Influential in 2008, 2009 and 2020, and twice a BTN Best Practitioner for her work as a travel buyer. In 2017, she was inducted into The BTN Group Business Travel Hall of Fame.
