Miles Preps Ground Transport Mgmt. App for '22 Release

U.K. travel management company Gray Dawes Group has acquired travel management business Ventur Travel, formerly known as Traveleads, the company announced.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Gray Dawes reported that it will increase its annual revenue to more than £250 million and its employee count above 200. Ventur Travel Limited, which has offices in Leeds and Edinburgh, specializes in areas including corporate travel, conferences and meetings, energy and offshore, media travel and sports travel. Gray Dawes also is acquiring its Harrogate-based specialist leisure division Ventur Luxury.

The two TMCs have “so many synergies across the businesses which makes this a very natural fit,” according to Ventur business transition consultant Gary McLeod. “By being a part of the Gray Dawes Group, we will be even stronger and able to deliver enhanced opportunities to our staff and clients alike.”

The acquisition is Gray Dawes eleventh to date, according to Gray Dawes Group CEO Suzanne Horner. Its most recent was Amber Road Travel.
