TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices registered modst decline on ScrapMonster Price Index as on October 7th, 2022. Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices registered marginal decline. Also, Aluminum scrap prices declined over the previous day.
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.05 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices held steady on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.05 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed no change from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too reported no change from the previous day.
Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe held steady on October 7th, 2022.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were flat on Index.
The price of Romex Wire witnessed no change during the day.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights saw no change from previous day price levels.
1100 Scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too declined by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were down by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of 6063 Extrusions and 5052 Scrap dropped by $0.01 per Lb each over the day.
6061 Extrusions saw marginal decline of $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators/Fe and Al/Cu Radiators witnessed no change on Index.
Aluminum Radiators prices were flat on Index.
Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on 7th October, 2022.
Chrome Wheels and E.C Aluminum Wire prices saw marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb and $0.02 per Lb respectively.
Litho Sheets and MLC Clips dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.
Painted Siding prices too dipped by $0.01 per Lb on Index.
The prices of Painted Siding, Old Cast and Old Sheet dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.
UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each.
#1 Bundle prices remained flat.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on October 7th, 2022.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.
201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.
304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.
330 SS prices were flat from the prior day.
Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region witnessed decline on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each Friday, October 7th, 2022.
Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.
