Air purifier maker AeroClean (NASDAQ:AERC) saw its stock soar 55% in afternoon trading Tuesday.
Shares of AeroClean opened at $4.57. The stock recently changed hands at $7.05, up 55% from Monday’s close, at approximately 3:45 p.m. ET. The company did not appear to release any news or make any new SEC filings.
AeroClean shares rallied in June following news that it had received FDA clearance for its Purgo air purification technology. The stock had been trending downward since early July until Tuesday’s bounce.
AeroClean held an initial public offering on Nov. 24, raising $25M. The shares rocketed to close nearly 700% higher following their market debut.
