Miles Preps Ground Transport Mgmt. App for '22 Release

American Airlines has started redesigning its Admirals Clubs in the United States, with the first new space to open this fall at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the company announced Thursday.

The Washington club will be approximately 14,000 square feet and seat 236 customers, according to an American spokesperson. American did not provide many specifics on the full scope of the project, other than its partnership with Chicago-based DMAC Architecture & Interiors firm on the redesign.

The next clubs currently under construction and in line to open with the new design include spaces at Newark Liberty International Airport, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Denver International Airport. Former clubs at Austin and Denver will closed once the relocated new ones open, according to American.
