BCD Travel has promoted Michèle Lawley to president of the travel management company’s European operations, the company announced.
Lawley, currently BCD’s SVP for Europe, on Aug. 31 will take over full responsibility for BCD’s operations and finances in Europe, working to create long-term, sustainable growth in the region, according to BCD. She will be based in London and report to BCD president and CEO John Synder.
Lawley is replacing current BCD European president Mike Walley, who is joining the board of Boron, the family company of BCD Group founder John Fentener van Vlissingen. Walley also will keep his position as president of BCD Media & Entertainment.
