BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on September 28th, Wednesday. Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 500 per MT each.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 250 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap prices witnessed no change on Index.
Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices were down by CNY 50 per MT each.
Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices inched lower by CNY 100 per MT.
Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 200 per MT on Friday, October 28th.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady over the previous day.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a dip by CNY 350 per Lb over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 350 per MT on Index.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers recorded decline by CNY 150 per MT each from the prior day.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices dipped by CNY 350 per MT on Index.
Old Cast prices too were down by CNY 350 per MT on 28th October, 2022.
The prices of Old Sheets dropped by CNY 350 per MT on Index.
UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices dipped by CNY 150 per MT each from the previous day.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 28th October, 2022.
