Entergy (NYSE:ETR) said Wednesday that Chairman and CEO Leo Denault will retire in 2023, to be succeeded by current Executive VP and CFO Drew Marsh effective November 1, 2022.

Denault was appointed chairman and CEO in 2013 after serving as Executive VP and CFO from 2004; he joined the company in 1999, and his retirement caps a 40-year career in the energy industry.

Drew Marsh joined Entergy (ETR) in 1998 and served in various financial planning and strategy roles before becoming Executive VP and CFO in 2013.

Entergy (ETR) recently reported better than expected adjusted earnings of $1.78/share and affirmed full-year adjusted EPS guidance.
