Newcrest Mining Gold Production Surged in Q4 FY22

The company has negotiated contract terms with an underground mine contractor.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Silver Bullet Mines Corp. provided update on its ongoing operations at its Washington gold mine in Idaho.

According to company press release, sitework has now commenced to prepare the historic mine for rehabilitation and production. A local portable sawmill operator is already on-site for milling timbers on the property. In addition, it has appointed a contractor to upgrade the access road and to establish site water, electricity and storage.

The company has negotiated contract terms with an underground mine contractor. The underground rehabilitation is expected to begin in October this year, subject to completion of a federal agency filing and approval of the mine design by the mine engineer. At this point of time, it is impossible to provide a production time table as it is largely dependent on completion of the rehabilitation process, the company said.

Silver Bullet noted that the blocked-out volume, as part of an earlier decision, remains in place. It expects to extract a bulk sample of 1,500 to 3,000 tonnes of mineralized material from that blocked-out volume in the short term. As per reports, the blocked-out volume contains an estimated 3 million oz. of silver with a grade of 1,030 to 3,085 g/t and 15,000 oz. of gold at 10.28 g/t.

The Washington mine is located on patented land in the Boise Basin area of Idaho and covers approximately 294 hectares.
