TMR Foresees Notable Surge in E-Scrap Recycling Market Over Next Decade

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Santa Ana, California-headquartered electronics recycling firm, TechWaste Recycling announced launch of a new scholarship program. The TechWaste Recycling Scholarship Program aims to boost awareness about electronics recycling among college and high school students.

The theme for this year’s TechWaste Recycling Scholarship is “How do you make an impact in your community with E-Waste Recycling?”

The scholarship program is open to high school senior and college students of any major. To apply, students are required to write an essay of 700-1,000 words or create a video of length between 1 and 5 minutes. The essays must be posted on a blog website like wordpress.com, medium.com or on school’s website. The videos must be uploaded to Youtube or video-sharing websites. The last date of submission of entries is April 15th, 2023.

The entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the electronics recycling industry. The marks will be based on the following four criteria- entertainment, presentation, relation to electronics recycling and production quality. The three scholarship winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2023, who will receive $1,000 and a laptop each, said the company press release.

TechWaste Recycling expressed the hope that the scholarship program will encourage students to be conscious and be part of the efforts to limit climate change.
