TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices declined on ScrapMonster Price Index as on January 4th, 2023. Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Aluminum, Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices registered decline on Index.
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices witnessed no change on Index over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.02 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator and Copper Transformer Scrap remained unchanged.
Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices reported no change over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe saw a dip by $0.02 per Lb each on January 4th, 2023.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Heater Cores and Romex Wire prices held steady over the day.
