BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index as on December 19th, Monday. Brass/Bronze scrap and Steel scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. Copper and Aluminum scrap prices recorded marginal decline. Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change from the previous day.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 100 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 100 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have dropped by CNY 50 per MT on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded no change over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices saw no change in prices over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator prices remained flat on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, December 19th.
Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
6063 Extrusions witnessed decline by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 200 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw a dip by CNY 100 per MT each.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT.
Old Cast prices registered a decline by CNY 200 per MT on 19th December, 2022.
The prices of Old Sheets and UBC witnessed decline by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 19th December, 2022.
Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.
201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.
304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.
309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.
310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on December 19th, 2022.
Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China posted no change on Index.
Brass Radiator scrap prices remained flat on December 19th, 2022.
